Fishing is primo, however, if you enjoy the beach, (less than 1/4 mile from our front door,) boating, snorkeling and scuba diving, canoeing and kayaking, exploring nature, unique shopping, good eating, history or just laying back and relaxing, the Dixie Belle is located right in the center of it all. Cape San Blas, #1 beach in the US in 2002 is just a 1/2 hour drive. Apalachicola, a charming, historic town is only 30 miles to the east. A must for oyster fans! Panama City, a Gulf Coast tourist Mecca, is a short 45 minute drive northwest.


Boaters and fisherman will find a free boat wash area out front and a free fish cleaning station behind the motel. We invite you to enjoy the adjacent shaded deck and barbeque grill. It's the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day.

Who are you guys?

  • We're conveniently located on scenic US Highway 98 and the unspoiled white sand beaches of Florida's "Forgotten Coast." We have 10 rooms, all non-smoking, most with 2 double beds, one king bed room, one queen bed room and 3 full kitchen units, the largest of which sleeps 6.
